Paul Woodbridge

I have been involved in the construction industry from an early age, working on site with my father to earn extra pocket money, and gain valuable building and life experience. 

With a passion for design and build, I enrolled in an Interior Design course where I gained firsthand knowledge of the industry and what it meant to people. With my Diploma in Hand I secured my first job  as a Kitchen Design and installation coordinator. During this position I would design layouts, consult not only with the clients but also builders and contractors, to insure the installation was correct and to the client’s specification. 

I moved on to a trade specialist who dealt in the supply and installation of kitchens to large building firms. My role as a Contract Administration Manager was to liaise with Designers and Contract Managers and ensure the orders were placed and processed to the correct designs. As I progressed within the company I moved to the After Sales Departments, where I dealt with the client and fitter related issues. 

With a desire to return to Design and Build I joined a bespoke furniture manufacture, where I was employed as their Lead Designer. I would meet with clients and discuss their design requirements and survey the areas in which the furniture was to fit. From the information collected I would design the bespoke furniture, and produce plans with three dimensional images. Along with the design I would produce a precise and in depth quotation and fitting schedule. During my time here I took on more responsibility, by procuring timber, fittings and fixtures. I assumed the role as Manager and ensured the day to day running of the factory and fitters.

After realizing there was a gap in the building industry, along with two business partners APX Project Management was formed in 2020.  We aspire to help clients with their project once planning has been approved, and enable them to make their vision possible. Working in association with APX Architecture we can provide a design to build concept.  

I am an accomplished creative professional, highly effective at finding the best methods possible to complete exceptional design and build projects. I am able to provide clear direction and explain plans and contract terms in clear and an understandable way. Safety conscious and detail orientated. I have a proven track record in all aspects of the end to end creative and build process ranging from concept through execution. I like to think that I am approachable and can build client relationships and develop solutions that bring my clients vision to life in a fresh and compelling way.
